Summer Beauty Essentials

Today I wanted to share my favourite nail polishes and beauty products that I’ve been reaching for during the daytime. The polishes, of course, are all pink. You can definitely get away with more vibrant bright shades during the summer, so those are the colours I’ve been reaching for!

Below are my favourite shades, sometimes layered with one another or as a pedicure for a little more subtlety. These also happen to be drugstore brands; L.A Colors, Models Own, Barry M, Nails Inc, Milani. My favourite is probably the models own muted mauve shade as the application wand has a rounded tip so its easier to apply, and the formula is thick so you get a quicker, even application.

Below is a little flat-lay I put together, showing my go-to products. Left to right;

Victoria’s Secret Be Seduced body lotion
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Kylie Matte Lipstick in Candy K
Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir Eau de Toilette

These all happen to be small products, so they fit perfectly into a Celine Nano Tote. I usually stick to just three beauty products for top-ups, one always being for lips.

What do you guys bring with you?

xoxo

Drugstore Products Review | The Basics

I picked these items up all together, in one huge haul, but have been posting little bits here and there so you’ve probably seen a lot of my pictures featuring a product. These three are the final three I will be reviewing from Boots for now.
I bought a lip balm, hair tie and face cleansing pads, so pretty basic stuff but read on if you’re interested;

Blistex Happy Lips in Mango – Retails for £2.50 which is what I paid but currently it is on offer, so head over if you’re interested! This doesn’t smell like mangoes specifically, but it does have a sweet taste to it…yes I’ve accidentally eaten some…

This retails for £3.75 – I don’t really like this unfortunately, I will try out other brands as I know for preventing kinks overnight, this bobble really helps as it’s plastic, but it stretched out after a few uses and didn’t really hold my hair very securely

This retails for £5 and is a dupe for The Body Shop, which is £11 and you only get 40 sheets. However, if you think they are better quality then by all means you should get those, but these work well. They have some kind of beads which exfoliate, yet don’t leave a greasy layer on your skin or any residue, and they smell so fresh. I haven’t had any irritation and I even pat them over my eyes and it seems to get rid of some makeup!

Will you be trying any out?

Detox Thermal Mask Review + Demo!

Hey girls,

Today is a little late post, but better late than never right?! Anyway, this is a first impressions post on this Sanctuary face mask. I’ve been using it for the past week and here is a photo of the first time. I bought this on 3 for 2 so the pricing could have been around £10.

I will be featuring this on my youtube channel so stay tuned for that! I just want to add also that it draws out impurities which one of my followers notified me about.

As crazy as I look, it is a great mask. It doesn’t dry instantly but it is a quick pick me up kind of mask.

Have you tried it?

Beauty Haul!

Hey girls,

Today’s post is a beauty haul, I know I tried writing one for each of the three categories (check the tabs) but it isn’t realistic, and sometimes I just have a lot of products to review!
Anway, here are three skincare/beauty products I purchased a few weeks back.

First is this Clean & Clear toner, which is for teenage acne-prone skin, so if you have sensitive skin maybe give this a miss. It’s is very strong and probably has a high alcohol/salicylic acid in the bottle. It is also oil free so you can tell it’s a pretty hardcore product. Nonetheless, it makes your skin look so even and tones down breakouts.

This is a first for me, but I picked up a Crest 3D White Toothpaste which will hopefully give me bright white teeth (not quite Simon Cowell though..) I’ve heard good things about this range.

Last but not least you will undoubtedly have come across this if you watch american beauty videos, which is where I got the recommendation! This is essentially a medium-full coverage foundation. I have been using this Covergirl product in all my latest FOTD posts and on top of being a great alternative to £3455 high end ones, this foundation actually works well.

Christmas Beauty Haul – Soap & Glory + Ted Baker

Hey guys,

Today I have an exciting haul, a 3 for 2 Christmas haul which means the holidays are fast approaching! I picked up most things for gifts and a few cheeky bits and bobs for myself…

Soap and Glory Righteous Butter – An amazing tub of smooth goodness, it smells so good and has such a unique scent in comparison to normal creams and leaves your body so soft and moisturised. (£10.50)

Ted Baker Origami Occasions Set – A set of body products, perfect for a girlfriend or a sister! It comes with such a cute toiletry bag I’m tempted to keep it for myself… (£7.99)

Ted Baker Treasure for Treasure Box Set –  It comes in the classic girly and cute Ted Baker packaging and the box would make an amazing room decor addition. (£15)

The hat box comes with a body loofah, a shower gel and a body lotion – all full sized so you’re really getting your money’s worth. The packaging itself is also very impressive.

These are all different price points – and obviously all girly as most of my close family and friends are female which makes things so much easier.

PS – I’ll be running a HUGE giveaway in the next few weeks on my Channel so stay tuned…

xoxo
