The end result after applying clear lip balm, and two coats of the Hint of Pink
I used a 3 for 2 offer when purchasing this, but originally it was £8.19 so quite a hefty price for a drugstore lipstick. Nevertheless, it is such an elegant, unique collection and in all honesty, you’re paying for the design and endorsement along with the product. The packaging is similar to that of NARS so it can get a little dirty in your makeup bag, but I still absolutely love it!
I will say it is very creamy so it is not a matte shade, but it looks so subtle and natural on the lips. You will probably need to exfoliate or moisturise your lips beforehand so as to prevent any flakiness. There are about 6 shades to choose from, each for different skin tones etc, so if you’re pale and blonde this would be the best shade for you. My friend Hayfa also picked some of these up, so if you’re interested check out her blog.
I would repurchase this or pick up another shade, maybe a darker fall inspired shade, as nudes can be difficult to work with especially in the winter months!
Have you tried these out?
