Winter Must-Haves: Wardrobe Updates
I've been on a bit of a revamp kick recently with my wardrobe, and I wanted to show you guys some of my favourite pieces. Some are old favourites I've brought out this season, whilst a few new items have become my newly beloved accessories.
This first piece is a jacket from Primark. I picked this up a few seasons ago and found it in the back of my closet! It was under £20 so it was a total steal and it really makes for a statement piece. I love the retro vibe with the flared sleeves and cropped style. Blue is one of my favourite colours, and I'm a sucker for prints so this was a no brainer for me!
The bag isn't bad either; a vintage Prada tote I received for a birthday.
This hat has been all the rage recently (the style at least). 'Baker boy' hats are a great addition to any darker or simple outfit. The whole outfit is posted on Instagram if you fancy taking a look. This hat I purchased on Amazon, by a brand called Jimall. This was very inexpensive and I don't care much about the brand when it comes to accessories but this has a velvety texture which I love.
Finally, I love mixing textures and materials hence this slightly confusing outfit... I paired a simple polo neck tucked into a silk skirt by Karen Millen. I've had this for ages but couldn't figure out how to style it, and I decided a bodysuit or tight top would work best. Since it's so short, tights are essential or paired with a long sleeve top. I recommend steering clear of prints in order to avoid looking like Khloe Kardashian circa 2008.
