Sleek Cleopatra's Kiss Palette Review
I picked this up a little while back, and if you want to see it in action, it features quite heavily on my youtube channel! Today I'm giving you guys a more in-depth review of the palette as I fell in love with their first release - Solstice.
This is almost a rendition of the original, with more gold and rose toned shades. Each palette has a 'sleek' gold packaging which I love, although slightly gaudy. The four shades are pictured below:
This retails for £10 and is sometimes on offer, especially for those with Boots cards. I love the mix of textures and finishes, as two are baked and more iridescent and two are creams which work perfectly on inner corners, nose highlights and the centre of the lid.
I usually apply these with a fan brush, my favourite being this one by ELF. It disperses the product well and ensures you get even coverage but sometimes I just use my index finger for my eyes. It doesnt seem to come with a brush but there is space for one, if you were to bring this on the go which seems very handy.
These are the four swatches, each has a similar finish when applied but it is a very diverse mix of shades. The darkest shade would look amazing on someone with olive toned skin, and since I have very pale skin I can confirm that they all work well as bronzer/cheekbone highlight. I haven't yet tried mixing them together but I imagine layered they would look amazing.
The quality itself as you can see from the one swatch is very high and I never get fallout from these, so I imagine they are very finely milled.
Have you tried this?
