Drugstore Bronzer Palettes
I'm definitely a sucker for palettes, and when they come from the drugstore, I could end up with a basket full! The two I'm reviewing today are from Collection and Seventeen. These are brands aimed at younger girls but they seem to be overlooked by beauty bloggers quite often.
I've been using these brands for a long time, many years (during the blue eyeshadow era). The first is the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick, which is a great dupe for the Bobbi Brown bronzer palette. The shades are gorgeous, each one is so pigmented and has the perfect amount of shimmer. If you aren't willing to shell out upwards of £30 on bronzer, this is the palette for you. I've received so many compliments on instagram when highlighting with this!
Next is the Collection Gorgeous Glow Palette which was a gift, I wouldn't have thought to pick this up. This is much more pink and blush toned, with a cooler undertone to the shades. I would prefer this as a blush honestly, but swirling a kabuki into the palette brings out a gorgeous deep rose tone.
Here are swatches for both palettes. The top is the Seventeen palette and the shimmer really brings out the tones, they would double as beautiful eyeshadow and inner corner shades. Below is the Collection palette, a much more subtle skin toned selection.
Have you tried either?
