Spring in the Park OOTD
This may be the final post about spring I make this year, as I found pictures from about a month ago on my camera. I completely forgot to include this on my blog in May!
I went to a local park in May with a friend, and it was warm and sunny but not excessively so that I wouldn't be able to layer up. I haven't paired these pieces together before, so I was excited to find a light and dark colour combination that worked perfectly.
My top is from Zara, I found this bargain in their sale racks last summer and fell in love with the 'edgy' vibe as it is asymmetrical and has a tie dye/linear design.
The jacket which is a dusty beige shade, is from Pretty Little Thing, which is an online boutique for those who don't know. I love their stock, and it's usually very on trend. This goes with a lot of colours and outfits, and makes for a light jacket during these months of rocky weather.
I love the silk panels on the jacket, so I kept accessories light as there was already a lot going on. I only added my bag, and the sunnies to wear in the park. Those are from China so they are unbranded, and I found them in a Beijing market for about 50p!
This one's actually taken from my instagram page, which gives a full shot of the outfit. My jeans are from New Look and they are from the tall range as I'm about 6ft tall I need the extra inches! The black bag fit all my essentials and went well for a casual day out outfit.
My shoes are the same ones as in my last post, so check that out for a close-up. Here's a better look at the bag, which I love so much! I don't remember the name of the style, but I added a River Island pom pom (is that what they're called?) to add some colour and 'edginess' to the rather simple colour palette. (* I use the word edgy very lightly).
Are you guys excited to start dressing for summer?
