Would I Repurchase? | Drugstore & High End Lotion
Upon leaving university accommodation, I realised I had a truck load of used up products. These are (unintentionally) divided into types, so today I'm starting with body lotions.
First up is one from Boots own Extracts range; the Brazil Nut Lotion
- This one has been lying in my beauty drawer for a while, but I remember that it has a very delicate scent, not at all overpowering. Sometimes they can be too much for daily use but this reminds me of The Body Shop products - minus about £5! It sinks in nicely, and has a pump so its not messy to use, and would work a charm as a hand cream too.
Next up is Neal's Yard Geranium & Orange Body Lotion
- This is a little pricier, but I received this for Christmas in a set. This one is smaller, at only 100ml but the consistency of the product made it last for months! This has a stronger scent, but still with a fruity base due to the mix of citrus and geranium. I would recommend smelling this before purchasing, but it works fantastically for dry skin and leaves you feeling moisturised for hours. I always used it before bed, after a shower.
Last but not least, is The Body Shop Peppermint Foot Rescue
- Writing this makes me realised how much I loved this product. I picked it up with a 40% discount code and it had rave reviews online, so I thought why not? Usually I don't care about pedicures etc but this works so well, and with sandal season coming up, I think it's a great investment. Without getting weird about feet (this is going up for the world to read?!) I will say it isn't greasy, smells very fresh and a little goes a long way.
Have you tried any of these?
