High Street Outfit of the Day
This is one of the first outfits I've posted this season that can be considered fully high street!
Below are pictures of one of my favourite spring looks, featuring New Look, M&S, PLT, River Island and Primark.
The backdrop of my garden adds such a nice touch for pictures, and so I guess my new instagram theme is the colour green!
Here are a few full length shots - the colour palette for this day was pink and purple with a hint of gold accents. I love these colours and mixing shades together makes an outfit less boring yet it all works together seamlessly.
This top is from Primark, it is quite sheer, but I like layering and with a light vest underneath it works well for summer too. You'll see more close ups in the final pictures!
The boots are from Marks and Spencer, they aren't quite knee high, but at my height I settled for this length! They paired well with a light to dark colour scheme, and it's a bit hard to see in this lighting but the skinny jeans from New Look are actually a dark purple.
I love this bag, it's unconventional but it caught my eye and it was during my faux fur obsession last winter. This was on sale (and in a youtube haul) and the purple tones are so different to any other bag I own. I also love the gold chain, it's convenient and trendy.
Last but not least, I think I'll be wearing this a lot more - the choker from River Island. This was on sale for probably £4. I snatched it up, as I had been searching for gold or silver chokers and this one has an adorable dainty heart in the centre. It works well with any flowy outfit and it is so delicate, that it wouldn't overpower a top or jacket.
What do you guys love for spring to summer transitions?
