Healthy Eats: Eggs on Toast
Happy Valentine's Day for starters! Yes, this is a post about healthy eating but whether you're in a relationship or not, hopefully we are all eating like little piggies today, feasting on chocolate etc.
This meal was actually prepared by my mum but it is so simple and delicious, I had to share. Plus the colours make it so aesthetically pleasing! This is:
- fried eggs
- wheat toast (w/ butter)
- salad - goats cheese, radish, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill and dressing
- On top is some herb salt and parsley
This would take approximately 20 minutes to create and tastes so good. It's perfect at any time of the day as well, whether it's a quick protein filled dinner or a lazy brunch.
