NOTD: Shattered Gold & Baby Pink

Hey girlies,

I used to post these all the time, but sadly recently I've been so busy my nails have been the last thing on my mind. I had some time free this week and decided to try a combo I wanted to do for a while now. I purchased this shatter coat a long time ago on sale and I love the effect over an opaque colour.

The base is Dulce de Leche which creates a nice build-able mauve base. This is a great choice for layering an effect polish over.

Then I went in with another OPI shade but this is a top coat colour, in Gold Shatter.

As you can see it creates a subtle, quite sheer top coat which sparkles in the sunlight and adds a shimmery effect. I would advise to apply slowly in small applications/strokes as some of my nails are uneven and have less shatter as I layered it too quickly!

I love this combo nonetheless, what do you think?

xoxo
