FOTN: Cherry Pink & Shimmer

Hey girls,

I haven't done a pure beauty post in a while, and boy oh boy did I miss them! I love trying out new makeup and different combinations, so being able to share the looks with you guys is so fun. As mentioned in my last post, I'm currently away so I've been going out and actually interacting with humans the past few weeks. Anyway, for a night of partying this is the look I created:

I've just picked up the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation which is as good as everyone says it is. I had a few breakouts so I didn't want to overdo the powder as it would end up looking cakey. I added Benefit Dandelion blush which is my favourite as it gives you a natural flush.

Please ignore my hair, it was the second day and it just wouldn't co-operate. Anyway, for my eyes I rarely go smokey so I just added The Body Shop Black Kohl and Rimmel Scandaleyes Nude Eyeliner. I topped it off with Bad Gal Mascara from Benefit.

The light was a bit weird here, making me look like some kind of spirit but I can assure you, I looked more like the picture above! On my lips I have Rimmel Apocalips in Out of This World. I used a Maybelline eyebrow pencil in a light brown, and topped my face up (mostly my t-zone) with Rimmel Stay Matte powder.

A pretty simple look, I'm always in a rush so the basics, in neutral shades, work well for me and I don't end up looking too comical. In fact, I've been told my skin looks good rather than my makeup which is a bonus!

xoxo

  2. Love the lip color! I've never tried a nude eyeliner, but I'm definitely tempted to pick one up!
