Soap & Glory Kick-Ass Concealer Review

 Hey girls,

Today I'm reviewing a Soap & Glory product which is a makeup item, which to me at least is fairly new as they're known for their body products. Nevertheless, their makeup tends to be great too and 'hit or miss' for me.
I applied the concealer on its own with no other makeup (except for under-eye concealer) to get a real feel for it and see how high coverage it is.

It comes in a little container/packaging whatever you want to call it, and has 3 steps. This seemed strange to me at first but it just opens up in layers and you have all you need to top up during the day.

You have powder and a little sponge, great for patting on lightly. This is in the lightest shade, so if you have darker skin I'm sure you can find a good match.

Two shades come in each pack, a salmony tone and a light skin tone, seems to be for matching to your exact shade. I like to use the lighter one more, and the darker one if I'm applying underneath bronzer.

What I Think

As you can see, my skin was not perfect but this was great for a base and to even out my skin tone, as I have blemishes which I'm working on. The shade selection is pretty good too, swatch in the shop though. I picked this up at the airport in Boots so I didn't have time for that. The coverage is buildable and can be applied using your hands to get a creamier consistency or with a brush for more accuracy. This costs about £12 to £13.

xoxo

  2. This is awesome! I've heard great things about this concealer before. I'll have to try it once I run out of my current concealer.

  5. I haven't been swayed by their make-up either....and with 3steps...sounds like a bit of a hassle!!

  6. I've seen this a few times but never picked it up just wasnt too fused on it! 17 concealer is my staple...to be honest though I love all of the rest of Soap&Glory makeup-their Foundation and Blusher are daily essentials for me! . x x

  7. Very Interesting! And I like the two tones as well, as it would work perfectly on faces with uneven pigmentation.
