OOTD: New Years Celebrations
Happy new year! Although the celebrations definitely put me in a fresh start kind of mood, 2014 is pretty much just a number, and it's what you do with your time, not the actual year that counts. Regardless, I had a really fun night with friends and saw beautiful fireworks over the London Eye. I have some amazing plans for this year already and I can't wait to share them with you! These are a few photos from yesterday of what I wore during the day.
I went for I can only describe as milk maid chic. It reminds me of typical European costumes and attire, but also managing to look quite festive.
My top is from H&M which I purchased a while ago but could never find something to pair it with well. I realised I had this lovely red skater skirt from New Look which is so simple it can make an outfit look more casual but at the same time the colour makes it a bit more special than plain jeans.
I added a delicate bracelet as the top has frills and lace and is high-necked so it would be a bit much. It was given to me by my grandma so it does have sentimental value, and it was originally bought in Mexico!
