Winter Pampering Essentials

Hey guys,

Today is dedicated to all things skincare - specifically my winter essentials for good skin. I don't know about your skin, but mine is constantly dry and therefore my makeup looks cakey. My t-zone is oily so I always powder and blot throughout the day, but I find my skin needs an extra boost of care and moisture on a day to day basis.

I use these pore strips  - common at all drugstores - on a  fortnight basis just because my nose is sensitive and exfoliation usually does the trick. I pop one of these on for 10 minutes and it clears up 80% of those pesky blackheads/visible pores

Once a week I use a face mask, and the one I'm currently using is this Balance Snake Venom mask. I know, it sounds weird but all these weird insect/animal based products really do wonders for you. If you didn't catch my favorites videos, I also use bee venom moisturisers. This really leaves your skin soft, smooth and ready to face the day.

Everyday, or anytime I'm taking a shower, I use this Clean & Clear Daily Scrub which is is also suitable for sensitive skin, and oil-free so great for oily skin. It has very subtle, small beads so is great for softening skin without drying it out.

Those are my current go-to's for my skin. Leave your own tips and recommendations below.

  1. I tried everything to get rid of blocked pores. Those nose strips just didn't do it for me. The best product I can find is a deep cleanse mask from Clinique. Really interesting read. Thanks.

    1. Oh no that's annoying! Will have to try that out! x
