Outfit of the Night & Face of the Night
Today's post is something I should but admittedly don't do often enough... Looks of the Day or Night in this case. Last night my flatmates and I were celebrating the near-end of the autumn term (yep, we're ready to go home!) I wanted to try something new rather than my typical bodycon skirt and long sleeved top.
Because of the annoying lighting you can't really see the eye makeup, but for my lips I went with No7 High Shine in Smile.
For the eyes I kept things neutral, but added a bit of sparkle with Sleek Divine Palette, using the rose gold shade all over the lid, and blending the darker bronze into the outer edges to deepen it up a bit. I used the highlighting shade on my brow bone.
Eyebrows I kept natural using my Gosh Eyebrow Kit with the lighter shade. For blush I stuck with good old Benefit Dandelion, as I went with Hoola bronzer lightly dusted on my temples, and cheekbones.
My hair was randomly curled, just to keep my growing 'bangs' out of my face as they can be quite annoying! I tousled my hair a bit before leave as the rest was straight, using Remington Curling Wand.
For my outfit I chose this lovely skater dress from H&M. It's a dark burgundy shade, in person it looks more purple. It's simple yet elegant and I felt like it didn't need any jewelry except for my clutch.
These shoes, as most of these items, were featured in a recent haul. They are from Bata and are those stretchy shoes that mould to your foot shape.
Hope you enjoyed the mini review, I'm thinking of filming some get ready with me videos, so do let me know if you'd be interested.
